Our History.

Custom Air Inc. was founded in 1979 and based in Harrold, South Dakota. Custom Air Inc. was founded by Mike Bollweg who identified the need in the Hughes, Sully, and Hyde county area for aerial application and along with his wife Judy developed the company as it is today.

While in the process of developing (changing from prairie to farmable ground) thousands of acres in the central South Dakota area, it was apparent there was a need for chemical application by air because of the vast size of our fields. Many are several miles long.

As the aerial business grew we added additional planes and pilots and ground machines and seed and fertilizer to become a full service agricultural service company.
